INDIA: George Bush Go Home

I don't often gloat for the sake of gloating, but this was too good not to share:
Bush will be taken to visit Gandhi's memorial in Rajghat. He's by no means the only war criminal who has been invited by the Indian Government to lay flowers at Rajghat . . . But when George Bush places flowers on that famous slab of highly polished stone, millions of Indians will wince. It will be as though he has poured a pint of blood on the memory of Gandhi.

We really would prefer that he didn't.

It's not in our power to stop Bush's visit. It is in our power to protest it, and we will. The Government, the Police and the Corporate Press will do everything they can to minimise the extent of our outrage. Nothing the Happynews Papers say can change the fact that all over India from the biggest cities to the smallest villages, in public places and private homes — George W. Bush, incumbent President of the United States of America, world nightmare incarnate, is just not welcome.

Arundhati Roy

George W must be glowing with pride.

GO BACK BUSH: KILLERS ARE NOT WELCOME HERE.

Dear friends,
GO BACK BUSH: KILLERS ARE NOT WELCOME HERE.
WE DO NOT SHAKE HANDS WITH THEM

We, the people of Hyderabad, note with deep resentment and anguish, that the President of the United States, Mr. George W Bush Jr. is accorded a state visit to India, in the first week of March, 2006.

Mr. Bush, who would like to preside over the globe as a ruling global headman, is unwelcome to our country, as he is anywhere he goes, due to the unbridled terror that he and his government have unleashed over mankind, through military invasion of Afghanistan, US supported Israeli state sponsored terrorism over Palestinians and the threat of invasion of Iran. Above all, he is the symbol of the illegal military invasion and occupation of Iraq and the cold blooded murder of thousands of Iraqis.

It is our duty to remind Mr. Bush, our governments at the centre and various states, that Mr. Bush is not welcome and we consider it our moral duty to greet him with the message, "GO BACK BUSH". Our parliament, barely three years ago, with rare unanimity, had condemned the military invasion of Iraq, in true acceptance of the peace loving sentiments of our people. NOW TOO WE CHOOSE NOT TO DO OTHERWISE.

We are fully aware that Mr. Bush is not coming here for any love for India or her people. While expressing our deep love for the people of America, and their growing sentiments in defence of peace, we note that Mr. Bush's main aim is to gain greater access to the Indian market on behalf of the US corporations and to bind India as a strategic partner, in several military initiatives, euphemistically called the global war on terror. We proudly reject all these "benefits".

We further want to send a strong signal, to those in government and outside, who succumb to their illegitimate subservience to the US global interests, forgetting the US's heinous crimes against humanity, and our people's steadfast role in defence of peace and independence. We thus remind ourselves of Rabindra Nath Tagore's famous words ," And some day the invincible spirit of man in its victory march will surmount all obstacles, to win back human dignity for mankind … the vanity of power is not secure, even for the mightiest of the mighty: the day has come to show this to the world."

We choose precisely to do that.

We greet Mr. Bush with our message: GO BACK BUSH. HANDS OFF IRAN. LEAVE AFGHANISTAN. STOP BLEEDING IRAQ. GO BACK BUSH. GO BACK.

QRS,

As a side note, Arundahti Roy just flat out rocks. (in general)

Anywho. Yeah, Bush did yet another horrible thing. At this point, there's too many to even count - sort of feel numb to it, y'know?

If he has not been impeached yet, I wonder if he is impeachable, period.

To "Harsha": What u say is understandable--if u were only, say, 10 yrs old.

Don't u realize we the people in USA have been afflicted and betrayed with the Jew-disease?--that Jews are running things here for benefit of Jews and associated co-conspirators (Israel is merely one side of a "good-cop, bad-cop" charade, the other being the United Nations Empire)?

If u want to get hip to this conspiracy we're suffering, pls ck such as JBS.org which will tell u all about the Council on Foreign Relations, the United Nations conspiracy, and the Federal Reserve Bank COUNTERFEITING scam.

True, real United States interests are betrayed and destroyed by the present conspiracy of Jew "neo-cons" for whom Bush II is mere frontman-mouthpiece. U need to get a serious clue. Thor

Righto "Miss R"--but ur problem is the objective reality by which people can read my stuff and then evaluate ur stuff. Jews fool themselves brilliantly as subjectivists and hubristic hysterics must. Problem is then how many among the gentiles are fooled-intimidated?--less and less by means of glorious Internet and dedicated bloggers, I submit. Tell us more. Thor
